Dane in Need Day at Berkeley Spring Tractor Supply

Dane in Need Day is an event to raise awareness of the Danes in Need in our organization, particularly our local Dane, Bowie.
Bowie is a playful, affectionate puppy, approximately 1 year old, who has had an incredibly rough start in life. He was abandoned at a rest area, emaciated and barely able to walk. X-rays, followed by a CT scan, showed serious damage to his right hip which will require major surgery to repair – likely a total hip replacement – once he is healthy enough to handle it.
Bowie is a friendly, happy young guy who will make a great companion once we get him well.
Diagnostics & treatment so far have totalled over $3,600, and the low estimates for surgery and rehab are well over $6,500.
